Corruptions hidden by it’s sheen
Always there, but never seen
Attraction mesmerizing saints
The devils hue, upon them paints
Beware of short lived wealth and fame
It really is a dangerous game
This world is going down the pan
Sucking at the Godly man
Who gently wanders off the path
To take an early, sinful bath
He slowly fades from glowing coal
Becomes an ashen, greying [...]

I guess I’m on the horse again
Unsure of where it goes
I’ve given up the reins to Him
The only One who knows
For I can ride a mile or two
Before I’ve lost my way
Navigating isn’t me
That’s when I have to pray.
Promising to let Him lead
Is all well and fine
But pride is there to overcome
As His returns to [...]

When I survey the wasted time
I spend apart from You
I tend to panic inwardly
My walk is far from true
So turn me into someone who
Desires Your daily touch
To give away my life to You
Oh would it hurt so much?
Your guidance is available
To all who truly seek
A way to walk the minefield
Alone we are so weak
So give [...]

No matter what you’re going through
However bad it seems
There is someone listening
To all your rants and screams
Maybe you’ve forgotten
That He is standing by
To help you in your misery
And mop the tears you cry.
He knows what it’s all about
He bore our death and sin
Agonising on the cross
He let the sunshine in
To shine upon our darkest times
To [...]

Just because we’re Christians
It doesn’t always follow
That we will always hit the peaks
And not fall in the hollows
For life is there to trip us up
We’re not immune from pain
But with the help of Father God
We can be raised again.
For there is nothing we can do
To make Him love us less
And through His dear Son, Jesus [...]

I met a man a while ago
I never will forget
He said I had a problem
That had not arrived, quite yet
I’m okay, I told him
I’ve managed up to now
You’re being pessimistic
To you I will not bow.
So time went by, and things went wrong
And I was in a flap
The cosy life that I embraced
Was turning rather flat
His [...]

The desert has appeared again
A learning journey,I must make
With this weight upon my soul
Death to self,I do partake
For I have branches that are dead
Sap no longer reaches them
I must sacrifice my right
To be a self made worldly gem.
He will snip and fashion me
Loving cuts will form a shape
I will trust Him,everything
From His love I can’t [...]

Years of being normal has taken its toll,
You’re mind is in pieces, its not fair at all,
Is there an answer to all of this pain,
Or will it stay with you, forever remain?
Someone who loves you is willing to help,
On hand at all times, whenever you whelp,
Longs to be asked to come to your aid,
The One who had you [...]

All around is boiling up
Into a ferment, fueled by greed
The world destroying what was meant
To be a paradise indeed
God is relegated to
A voice from times of distant past
He’s drowned out by the new age rant
Compared to Him, it cannot last.
So keep your eyes upon The Lord
His light will guide you through the mess
Of carnage that [...]

What is wrong with your demeanor
Are you travelling through a rut
The desert seems so hot and sticky
You have churnings in your gut
The recent balmy days are over
Times when everything was great
Now you’re back in disillusion
Look at you, you’re in a state.
Remarkably, The Lord still loves you
He is sorry that you’re down
Knows the reason for your [...]
